Today marks the second anniversary of our assumption of office. Senator Ike Ekweremadu Applauds Federal Government The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has commended the Federal Government for awarding a contract for the construction of the Nenwe-Nomeh-Mburumbu-Nara Road in Enugu State. Speaking when he inspected ongoing work on the road, Ekweremadu noted that the project would boost economic activities in some rural and agrarian communities in the state. According to him, farmers in rural communities experience difficulties in transporting farm produce to urban areas due to the absence of access roads. “It is well known that the beneficiary communities of this road project are food baskets that are especially good at rice production and palm produce. “They are also very good at groundnuts, palm, cassava, fruits, and so many others.
